MMITech will be retiring its managed Nextcloud service on 01.10.2026. After this date, the platform will be taken offline and stored data will be permanently removed.
Why we are doing this
Hardware and energy prices have risen sharply over the past two years, driven by AI demand, and software licensing terms continue to shift. Refreshing our storage cluster at today's prices would force us to either raise prices significantly or cut corners on quality, neither of which we are willing to do.
At this scale, hyperscale providers can offer better value than we can on this specific service. We would rather retire it cleanly than deliver a service we are not proud of.
MMITech is refocusing on its core infrastructure business: Cloud VPS, dedicated servers, and the platform we have built since 2017.
What this means for you
- New orders are already closed. No renewals will extend past 01.10.2026.
- You have until 01.10.2026 to download or migrate your data. We will send reminders every two weeks.
- Full refund of your current billing period, regardless of where you are in the cycle. Longer prepaid terms will be refunded in full. Refunds will be automatic — no action required.
